Methods and technologies of soil and water conservation in Mongolia
In the framework of the Combatting Desertification (CODEP) Project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) the Desertification Centre at the Institute of Geography and Geoecology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences collaborated with WOCAT to assess and document the traditional and innovative Sustainable Land Management (SLM) technologies in Mongolia. These experiences were registered in the national MONCAT database and a selection was published in ‘Methods and technologies of soil and water conservation in Mongolia’ as a contribution on how to reduce land degradation and desertification in Mongolia.
