At the III International Congress on Rivers and Wetlands in October 2021, WAJARI organized special sessions, including one on "Wetlands and Climate Change". To this occasion, Hanspeter Liniger (former director of WOCAT) prepared a presentation on on-and offsite impacts of land management in and around savannah wetlands. The primary focus is on the Cusiana watershed in Colombia, but there is also an example from Kenya.
