WOCAT training was organized to address the issue of land degradation and facilitate set-up of a foundation for documenting and sharing the existing SLM technologies (which could be agronomic, structural, vegetative and management) and approaches, starting with the Central Highland region of Afghanistan. The training was part of a collaborative SDC-funded initiative on “Sustainable Land Management Institute (SLMI)” in Bamyan. A short report of the Training can be downloaded here.
